Melting Point Espresso Bar – Willetton

Melting point espresso bar located at Willetton area. I went there with my partner in crime in culinary, lol. We even have new agenda to do our so called “cross country” activity which means visiting new cafe every now and then in a remote area.

I was in the mood of fruity drink and sweets so i ordered fresh juice and lime tarts. It’s definitely right choices. I love them!

It also has unique interior decor. Kind of my taste of interior design and also very photogenic for photography. The staffs are very nice and friendly. Parking space is not a problem because it has lots of parking space around. You can choose to sit inside or outside.

Taro – Taro Vic Park

Taro – Taro Vic Park is one of nice place to hangout with your family or friends. They serve Taiwanese dessert. So it’s great choice if you just want something light for catch up and chit chat with your friends. Perth has many bubble tea places but Taro-Taro is one of my favorites beside Utopia. Here, they not just serve bubble tea, but also some ice cream and light snack and meal.

What I love is they allow us to choose the sweetness of drinks. So you can select your drink without sugar, or with 25% , 50% or 75% sugar. This is a great option for those who prefer less sweet drinks, have a health condition such as diabetes and need to watch their sugar intake, or just prefer to adjust their order to match their sweetness palate.

You can see their menu in Zomato before you pay a visit. But I recommend you to try it.

Pepper Lunch – Willetton

Pepper Lunch – Willetton is another branch from Pepper Lunch franchise in Western Australia. It’s quite new compare to other branch. This restaurant is my family favorite one. My family is a hot food lover that’s why they are crazy about this place. And the cooking experiences here is worth to try. It’s similar with Korean bbq but in mini version. So the food come in a hot plate. Raw meat like chicken, beef slices/beef steak and salmon come in a hot plate then you cook them very fast. Eat very careful as the they becoming very hot at the first.

Find their menu on Zomato if you want to see before you go for a visit. They had a lot of hot plate menu variation.

Cafe 2 Twenty Four – Belmont

Cafe 2 Twenty Four – Belmont located in Belmont area. It’s found at the opposite of Belmont Forum. I went there with some of my beautiful ladies friends who likes to taste new cafe in town. We grabbed a table inside which is quite enough. I’ve been tempted with their mega shake. I’m bit afraid that it’s gonna be too sweet for me but surprisingly it’s not like what I thought. Everything about the food was so good, beautiful taste. They had gorgeous presentation and very fresh. We spent almost half day there, from dropping our kids at school until pick up time, lol. From coffee  to lunch time.

I recommend you to pay a visit to Cafe 2 Twenty Four – Belmont.

Nasi Lemak Korner – Como

This time we visit Nasi Lemak Korner – Como. It has Malaysian taste. I came here with my husband and my two boys, they are really fans of Asian food. The place is nice and quite cozy. We order nasi goreng and nasi lemak. Those foods that we ordered are really nice. And for the drinks we ordered raspberry mocktail and three layer tea. Love them both. They sometimes have special menu and also special dessert. Lately i’d like to try their durian strudel, but you have to call them first to make sure they have it on the day.

Mr. Walker – South Perth

Untitled-1

Mr. Walker’s location at South Perth near the jetty with a fabulous outlook over the Swan River to Perth.  I love their interior design and especially their lovely and unique vases. They have different shape of vase in every table. We decided to have a cuppa here. I had English breakfast tea. We also had churros for share. The churros is awesome. Better than the one that i had at san churros. Here if you want to check their menu.

The staff were attentive and very friendly. Worth a visit especially for visitors to Perth. And I would definitely come back again to taste another menu and enjoy the great view here.

They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner for 7 days a week and open their doors at 8AM in the morning. I plan to bring my troops here to have breakfast while enjoying the view at the same time. Really great place to chill out with your family and friends.

Hustle Cafe @Freo

Last Saturday me, my husband and Lola walking around Fremantle cafe strips. It was rainy day but we love rain so we just enjoy the walk. Lola a bit scared when she heard loud sound but it’s good to make her get used to with some loud sound and rain. We park near esplanade hotel then walk down the street toward Fremantle Market. Then turn right near hungry jacks. Fremantle was really nice place to walk along with your dog.

I ordered one mocha for me and one cappucino for my husband. We also had brunch there. We ordered smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel and also mashed avocado bagel. They are really nice especially the mashed avocado one. The cafe is lovely, really nice to hangout with your friends. It’s really suitable for breakfast and brunch. They have some variant of bagels, cakes and muffins in their menu. The price is reasonable. And the more important for us is we can bring Lola there, lol.

I really love the ambience in that place. I think i fall in love with hustle, lol. Think about having those little wood tables for my bedside. They really awesome. And they could be my food photo props as well, really handy to bring everywhere and use it as my background. They really are photogenic. I absolutely want to go back there again.

Victoria Park Hawker’s Market

Victoria Park Hawker’s Market on Friday night, now becoming one of our regular activities for the week. It’s really nice because we could find lots of food from around the world in one place, the other thing that make it perfect is because we can bring our lil puppy ‘Lola’ comes along together to join the crowd. It was a great venue to catch up with friends and family, the music is groovy too. You can bring picnic rug or chair because sometimes it’s hard to find empty table.

Dusit Thai Restaurant – Northbridge

Had invitation for my friend birthday party at Dusit Thai Restaurant in Northbridge. It’s the second time i went for dinner there. The place is big and it’s suitable for special occasion for example birthday party, graduation celebration, small wedding party, etc. When we came in to the restaurant, we immediately feel the Thai atmosphere. The red-gold colour theme make it more Thai. And also the tableware that they used to serve.

All the food that we ordered were taste amazing. I love their pad thai much. The sweetness and a bit sour make it great combination. And the crunchiness of the nut make it perfect. It’s easy for me to eat one bowl for myself 🙂 But because i had to make room in my tummy for other food so i can’t eat all of it by myself. The starter platter was great as well. Dip it with the sauce hmmm…so yummy.

At the end, it was a great night with great food and great friends as well 🙂

Harvest Espresso

https://www.flickr.com/photos/lunaexploration/22131890209/sizes/l/

Harvest espresso is one of the best small cafe in town. Some people call this kind of cafe as micro restaurant. And now micro restaurant is growing fast in Perth. I heard about Harvest espresso from my friend. And one day, my jog route pass this cafe, I found out the place is too small for a beautiful cafe with beautiful food like it.

It;s location is in the heart of Town of Victoria Park along the side of cafe strip there. This area is so happening at this time. It’s growing so fast lately with availability of more bubbly and spacious restaurant like the Precint, San Churro together with some micro restaurant like harvest espresso, etc made more people coming and business increases indeed.

What makes Harvest different from other cafe is because they provide different menus for every season. What a great effort isn’t it? That’s why people always eager to come and try their new menu. And also their matcha latte is so delicious. Those menus on the photos are their winter menu. Food prices range from $10 – $25. For coffee lover you should try their dirty matcha latte. What I have is ice dirty matcha latte with ice cream. Its so beautiful. Beautiful food with beautiful presentation, it’s just like you’ve been served by a masterchef. I definitely want to came back there again and again.
